Pass The Push-Up (great drill idea)🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hi Reader

As I mentioned the other day, I’m over in the UK this week visiting my dad (it’s his 70th), and he managed to get me a pass for his gym.

This morning I wandered onto the gym floor and saw a small circuit class being run by a trainer called Eli.

Really good trainer!

After the session we got chatting about drills and ways to keep sessions interesting, and she said something that stuck with me.

She said,

“If the sessions become predictable… people switch off.”

And she’s right.

When people switch off, they stop enjoying the sessions.

And when that happens… they eventually stop coming.

Now you’ve got two problems:

  1. A retention problem
  2. And a marketing problem, because now you need to replace those clients.

The solution is actually pretty simple.

Keep surprising your clients with new, engaging workout ideas.

Like the one Eli finished her class with.

Pass The Push-Up

The group starts in a circle and everybody adopts the push-up position.

Round 1: One person does a push-up, then the next person, then the next. They keep going around the circle until someone quits.

Repeat round 1 until only one player remains in the game.

The winner!

It looked brutal, but also really fun.

Everyone was laughing, shouting, cheering each other on.

The energy in the room was brilliant.

And it reminded me of something.

The trainers who keep clients the longest are the ones who keep their sessions fun, engaging, and interesting.

They just keep turning up with new ideas.

You can too!

That’s actually why I created The Creative PT Workouts Library!

A plug-and-play system of 50 themed 1-1 PT workouts, templates, and finishers designed to make your sessions more engaging, more memorable, and more referable.

And to be honest, a lot of trainers are also using them for group training, as well as 1-1 PT!

Like Kim who emailed in to say...

During this launch I’m also including VIP Unlimited.

Which simply means whenever I test a new drill or workout idea with my own clients and it works well, I’ll add it to the library and email it out.

No extra cost.

So the library just keeps growing over time.

If you want to check it out, you can do that here:

Speak soon,

Leon

P.S. The Creative PT Workouts Library doubles in price at Midnight, and the VIP Unlimited lifetime updates disappears too.

Hi Reader Before I share this drill… a quick heads up. For the last 6 months, the Workout Design Club has been $99 lifetime. That was a beta test. We wanted to reward trainers Prove the model.Build it properly. It worked. But $99 lifetime isn’t sustainable long term for what we’re building. The level of programming, ideas, and new updates going in each week deserves a proper structure behind it. So on Sunday, we’re switching back to: $30/month$240/year$400 lifetime And once it moves, it...

Hi Reader, At the end of yesterday’s PT session, I asked my client what he wanted for his finisher. He looked at me and said, “Go on then… I challenge you.” So we went all in. Not 80%. Not controlled tempo. 100%. Here’s the partner drill we used — steal it for your next class: Pays To Be A Winner I created this image so you can promote the challenge to your clients before running it. Post it.Share it in your group chat.Build anticipation. Let them know there’s a winner — and a consequence....

Hi Reader Before I get into today’s workout, I’ve got an important announcement in case you missed yesterday’s email. In 2021 I launched the Bootcamp Career Bundle with seasoned Fit Pro and business owner Georgette Pann. Every year since, we’ve added new products — making it bigger, better, and more valuable for trainers around the world. But this year is different. Georgette is retiring for good after 35 incredible years — and selling off her entire library of digital products as part of the...
